
On March 31, 2026, Academician Ouyang Xiaoping of the Chinese Academy of Engineering led a strategic advisory project team on Frontier Issues in Technology Trade Security to CNTY for a research visit. They were accompanied by officials from the Nantong Science and Technology Bureau, the Hai'an municipal government, and local science and technology departments.
The team visited the company’s waste-to-energy plant and headquarters, gaining an in-depth understanding of its R&D, industrial deployment, and market expansion in gravity energy storage, clean energy, and integrated renewable energy solutions. This was followed by focused discussions on energy storage innovation, industrial chain security, technology trade compliance, and core technology protection.
During the discussions, CNTY presented its core achievements, including the 100 MWh gravity energy storage system, and its integrated chemical park construction. The research team fully recognized the company’s technological innovation and industrial progress, noting that its gravity energy storage technology demonstrates industry-wide value and can offer practical support for national energy storage development and technology trade security policymaking.
