Nantong Tianying Jiarun, under the guidance of the Suxitong Emergency Management Bureau and the Park Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team, conducted a winter drill for snow and ice conditions on December 26, 2025. The drill was designed to strengthen preparedness and reinforce the winter safety defense line.

On the afternoon of December 26, the company organized over 60 operators and 11 vehicles for the drill, with leaders from the Park Emergency Management Bureau and the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team present on-site for guidance. Before the drill began, Wei Futai, General Manager of the company, delivered a mobilization speech, emphasizing that all participants must strictly follow discipline, obey commands, focus on coordination, improve efficiency, and adhere to safety protocols.
Following the command center’s instructions, all personnel and vehicles quickly entered a state of readiness, and the drill proceeded smoothly in an orderly manner:
Snow Removal: The focus was on assessing fleet response speed, operational coordination, route familiarity, and surface cleaning quality. Snow removal vehicles entered the designated routes according to planned formations, working in coordination, controlling speeds with precision, and efficiently clearing snow from road surfaces.

Deicing Material Spreading: This segment simulated scenarios where persistent snowfall led to compacted snow and ice formation on roads. It tested equipment handling proficiency, uniformity of deicing material spreading, environmental awareness, and accurate avoidance of sensitive areas. Spreader trucks operated along main roads, ensuring even coverage of deicing materials to proactively mitigate ice formation risks.

Manual Snow Removal: Targeting areas where mechanized operations are less effective, such as sidewalks and bike lanes, this segment evaluated the efficiency of manual-mechanized coordination and the quality of manual snow clearing. Working groups followed a sequence prioritizing main roads, interior areas, and thorough cleaning, using handheld snow sweepers, shovels, and spades to ensure no area was missed.

Emergency Response: This segment simulated unexpected situations such as vehicle breakdowns and personnel injuries to test the timeliness of emergency response, adherence to protocols, and on-site coordination efficiency, comprehensively strengthening the team’s ability to handle real-world emergencies.
After the four sessions were completed, the command center issued the conclusion order, and all participating vehicles and equipment were withdrawn. Cleaning teams then conducted final sweeping of the drill sections to ensure road surfaces were clean and traffic order was restored.
This drill effectively validated the practicality and operability of Nantong Tianying Jiarun’s winter snow and ice emergency response plan. The company will use this drill as an opportunity to further strengthen its emergency response capabilities, continuously improve the environmental quality, and ensure safe and smooth travel for residents.
