This project uses a real-name system to record residents’ addresses and names, which are indicated in the QR code on their waste bags and classification credit cards to enable waste tracking, credit incentives and credit exchanges. We have upgraded the classification facilities in the neighborhood to be able to automatically identify the owners of the waste. In addition, we have also developed a 12-point incentive mechanism to encourage residents to form the habit of waste classification, which lays a foundation for the later charging schemes.
